QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FROM G-d - Part
4
ABOUT MY COUNSELING APPROACHES
1. Healing Blocks
Dear G-d,
Somebody once told me that when a person is blocked, such as
being depressed or angry, and I, the counselor simply cannot get
through because they are blocked-up or pushing-off every possible opening I
provide for them, it’s happening because I’m on one
frequency and that person is on another, entirely different
frequency. And the only way that person will be able to hear me is
for us to be on the same frequency.
So, my question is this – how can I get them on the same
frequency with me, or how can I get through to them in some other way?
Dear Yitzchak,
It’s absolutely true that a person who is seriously blocked
is on a different frequency. A person in a blocked-up state does not have the extras,
such as state of mind, expansion of mind, extra ideas, and extra
Divine assistance that a person who is not blocked can access. Yes, you could
say that they are on a different frequency.
If you can use your tools and figure out how to
get them on a different frequency, that’s fine. But until you get them to that
point, what I suggest is the same thing I suggested to my people in Egypt –
GO. Just go, just leave that place, take the leap out of the immanent 49
gates of destruction of Egypt in whatever way possible, and then it
will be possible to move slowly afterwards, to take baby steps.
But to begin with, jump. Take an action, do something that
will get them out of there, even if they don’t feel like it or agree with it.
Then you can begin talking, and acknowledge their feelings with
compassion and understanding… “I’ve been in that same place, too.”
You can have the empathy and the patience after taking just one
action that will get them out of the place where they were blocked. Then you
can try to understand with compassion where they are coming
from, and actually help them see their own good points, it will help
them get out as well.
2. Anti-Suicide
Guidance
Dear G-d,
Sometimes people come into my realm and express
their desire to not go on living any more, G-d forbid. I understand the
situation, and that emergency measures need to be
taken, and what can come of this. I know they are asking for help,
but they are setting themselves up for failure. They are assuming that no
matter what happens they cannot win.
So, besides the emergency measures needed to keep them from
hurting themselves, what guidance can you give me to help them?
Dear Yitzchak,
Sometimes the deepest cry of these people is the cry for
love. So, you must find a way to phase into your healing process the assurance,
the security of knowing that they are loved, if not by other people most
certainly by ME. That’s number one.
Number two, you could take them through the logical
consequences of their threats, the actions they are contemplating, as a sort of
reality check. Help them see why these actions do not lead in a good direction.
Go ahead and use any directions your instinct prompts you to use, but
the most important thing is to tell them that anything and everything
is preferable to suicide.
That could mean leaving the physical circumstances in their
lives, the environment that is causing their hopeless feelings… leave town,
leave their marriage, leave their parents or children, just take a
break and see life from a different place. After that you can talk,
you can be in touch again.
Once a person sees that there is another way of being,
another atmosphere or perspective can pervade their thinking. This is just the
beginning of what you can do with suicidal people.
3. Spiritual
Sexuality
Dear G-d,
Some people I’ve been counseling recently have expressed the
need to know how to empower themselves with pheromones, or sexual energy cells
that are beaming out into the world in a subconscious, non-verbal manner in
order to attract their other half easier.
I’m a spiritual, emotional counselor, not a physical, sexual
counselor. That’s not my job. But I know that mystical Judaism has the
parallels, the correspondences and the roots of the energies these
people are seeking. Please guide me on this.
Dear Yitzchak,
As you well know, sexuality, as well as every other aspect
of human be-ing, has its roots in the higher worlds. And as you also
well know, the essential body of Kabbalah teaches in great
detail and in great length, the entire build-up of the mutual sexual
spiritual attraction, the culmination and the results that come
afterwards.
You know that a person who is in their Allness, fully
self-expressed, fully alive, is going to be a person who is naturally going to
attract another person who is in their Receiving-of-Allness mode, fully open,
fully receiving. And you know that is the dynamic, the type of
relationship that is the
equivalent of the “pheromones” that some people are
seeking.
So, use the information you already know, use the parallels
in their psycho-spiritual-sexual world of the higher worlds, the Kabbalistic
worlds, and empower these people with these types of
energies and exactly what they are seeking they will find.
4. Radical Acceptance
Dear G-d,
It became very clear to me, and continues to
become more and more clear as time goes by, that the first, most
fundamental and most important step in their healing for many of the
people I am working with is to radically accept their situation as being
Perfect AS-IS. What people often don’t get at that point is this - they feel if
they radically accept their situation, they will not be motivated to take
action; they expect to become apathetic and think everything is fine.
But I tell them this is not the case. You can function
within the paradox. You can give up the struggle and accept your
circumstances as being Perfect AS-IS, and yet you can still take
action, do rectification. In fact, I tell them then when their struggle is relinquished,
they will be much freer to take action. People have a hard time
hearing and grasping this truth, even though it is a very important
principle.
What can I do to help them understand and grasp
this idea?
Dear Yitzchak,
When a person is in a state of true acceptance, of knowing
from the source that all that comes to them comes from ME, the source of all goodness and caring and compassion and loving and nurturing and guidance,
then no matter what happens to them, they will embrace it. When they truly understand
that, then, as you say, there will be nothing getting in the way of their
motivation to take the action they need in order to make things happen.
Therefore, you’re on the right track. So many people need
this radical acceptance and to function from that place instead of a
place of anxiety and nervousness, of
worry and fear and all the other negativities that destroy
so many lives, so many consciousnesses.
So, keep on with your Perfect AS-IS approach.
5. Above-Naturing
Dear G-d,
I am encountering people who need to face the challenges in
their lives in a way that is not direct, but instead in an above-nature way.
That includes settling in the Land of Israel with all the difficulties
involves, it includes learning Torah as a full-time occupation with all the
incredible obstacles involved in that endeavor, and it includes
maintaining their professions and their incomes with all the
challenges involved. It includes their health, their families, their peace of
mind, their inter-personal relationships and many other things.
People get lost when they don’t see that there’s another way
of living besides the regular, logical way, and they miss the above-nature
way of getting by. How can I help lift them up to see the light in that
way?
Dear Yitzchak,
You recall advice given to you by a wise counselor, who laid
out for you, like a menu, two different perspectives, the natural
perspective and what he called Emunah, the above-nature perspective.
Yitzchak, that’s the answer to your question. All the people
you’re mentioning need advice on the natural perspective, the logistics, the
consequences of their actions in moving to Israel, keeping Torah, maintaining
healthy relationships with their
bodies and families and incomes.
But they all need to know that there’s also a different way,
a higher way with a whole different set of rules. That is the above-nature way.
You know the Torah sources showing how your people are meant to step up to this
level, to Emunah, to seeing and living above-nature, free from
constraint by the laws of nature.
I suggest you do your homework and get the sources
for these areas of above-nature approaches to cope with difficulties. It is
exactly what the “doctor,” the healer of all flesh suggests for them. I think
you will have a lot of success and I think you will raise people up
from where they are right now to where they need to be, where it’s possible for
them to be.
